About the lesson
Archaeologists discovered the site of Harappa around 80 years ago. The architecture of the city (houses, major buildings, drains, streets) was planned exceptionally well. Three kinds of people lived in those cities: the rulers, the scribes, and the craftspeople. They developed different art forms, and used stone, shells, metals, etc. to make different useful things such as weapons, ornaments, vessels, and seals for official works.
